Marie desJardins, A.B. ’85 (engineering and computer science) wrote an op/ed titled “All kids netbet live casinoshould have a computer science education” that was published by the Baltimore Sun.
In the article, desJardins argues that states should introduce students to computational thinking during their K-12 education, and incorporate computer NetBet Pokerscience as a high school graduation requirement.
DesJardins, who also holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley, is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the College of Engineering netbet live casinoand Information Technology, and Professor of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
