Harvard President Lawrence Bacow has approved Yaron Singer, Professor of Computer Science, to the role of full professor with tenure at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS).

Singer’s work focuses on the intersection of algorithms and machine learning.  His work focuses on understanding the power and limitations of algorithms whose input is learned from data, design of machine learning algorithms that netbet live casinoare robust to adversarial noise, and provably fast optimization algorithms for fundamental problems in machine learning.

Singer received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. Before coming to Harvard, he was a postdoc at Google Research. As a graduate student, he received the Microsoft Research fellowship and the Facebook fellowship.
