Marianna Linz, NetBet PokerAssistant Professor of Environmental Science and Engineering at the Harvard John A. NetBet PokerPaulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), and of Earth and Planetary Sciences, has been selected to receive a Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award from the National Science Foundation.

The nearly $900,000 grant will support Linz’s research, which explores the history of large-scale patterns netbet casino appof stratospheric winds and ocean currents. Winds and currents affect radiation in the atmosphere, the recovery of the ozone layer and the storage of heat and carbon in the deep ocean, making them important components of the global climate.

Linz joined the SEAS faculty in 2019. She earned her undergraduate degrees netbet casino reviewin chemistry and physics and earth and planetary science from Harvard in 2011, then received her Ph.D. in physical oceanography at MIT in 2017.
